Ignite the Magic of Your Mind,
Kelowna BC (May 2023)

Talk Title: Stewarding Sensitivity

Event Description:
Ignite the Magic of Your Mind, created and hosted by Sarah Pringle, is a mental health-focused community event centered on awareness, embodiment, support, and inspiration. The gathering features six speakers, including counsellors, life coaches, and mental health advocates, offering tools to support participants in living whole and alive.

My talk, Stewarding Sensitivity, invited a deeper understanding of what shapes heightened sensitivity, how to hold labels lightly, and how to honor both the gifts and the challenges of feeling deeply. I shared tools and practices for cultivating a steadier inner ground, so sensitivity can become a source of strength rather than a source of overwhelm.

Topics I Speak On

My speaking work centers on reframing sensitivity (or heightened perception) as a source of intelligence, stability, and inner guidance. I explore the emotional layers beneath food noise, eating patterns, and body image struggles, and how healing our relationship with the body opens the door to a more integrated, intuitive sense of self. Much of my work focuses on moving beyond recovery and into a deeper connection with inner wisdom, embodiment, and the ability to live from the heart in a world that often asks us to harden.
